Director of Marketing – Oxyfresh

Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID
Reports to: President

We’re looking for a results-driven Director of Marketing who is equal parts growth strategist, creative leader, and fast-moving executor. This is not a role for someone who needs months to make a decision or who wants to sit in meetings all day. We want a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can inspire the team, have bold ideas, and knows how to turn them into performance.

You’ll lead the strategy and execution of omni-channel marketing strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and brand equity across retail stores (like Walmart), e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Chewy), distribution and our DTC channel. This role requires a strong grasp of both B2C and B2B tactics, marketing analytics, automation, a love for creative storytelling and understands the importance of sales driven messaging.

Key Responsibilities

Lead & Inspire:
  • Manage and mentor a small but mighty internal team (creative, social, ecomm, influencer) and agency partners
  • Continue culture of speed, creativity, accountability, and performance
Own Marketing Strategy & Execute:
  • Own and drive the omni-channel marketing strategies across retail, digital, PR for all sales channels and marketplace partners to fuel growth goals
  • Oversee strategy from top-of-funnel awareness to bottom-of-funnel conversion—ensuring every initiative has clear goals and performance tracking
Top-of-Funnel Omni-Channel Growth:
  • Develop and lead high-impact TOF campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, Amazon DSP, Amazon Streaming, etc
  • Identify new opportunities to acquire, engage, and convert audiences through storytelling, trend integration, and bold creative
Product Launches (Start to Finish):
  • Own the full strategy, creative direction, execution, and performance of new product launches
  • Drive internal timelines, cross-functional coordination, marketing calendars, and promotional strategies
  • Lead the creative team to bring the brand and product story to life across every channel—from packaging and PDPs to ads, influencer content, and PR
  • Be directly accountable for launch success: awareness, ecomm sell-through, and velocity
Creative Direction & Brand Elevation:
  • Oversee creative teams’ development of high-performing creative assets, copy, and content that align with brand tone and sales goals
  • Guide the team on what’s working (and what’s not), ensuring we stay relevant, compelling, and conversion-focused
  • Understands different consumer personas and how to effectively market to each
Campaign Analysis, SEO & Optimization:
  • Oversee ad agency partners and strategies that are in alignment with growth goals
  • Regularly review performance data to optimize campaigns, budgets and SEO strategies
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to leadership and drive continuous improvement
PR & Influencer Strategy:
  • Build buzz through media outreach and partnerships that align with brand positioning and product priorities
  • Lead the social team to scale influencer strategies to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and evergreen content
Competitive Insight & Category Monitoring:
  • Keep a pulse on the category, SOV, competitive shifts, platform trends, and consumer behavior
Collaborate & Communicate:
  • Inspire and continue strong team culture within the department
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders ie product, sales, and leadership
  • Report out on performance, identify challenges, and present strategic ideas weekly, quarterly, and annually.
Tell a Damn Good Story:
  • Ability to pitch and secure earned media , ie podcasts through compelling storytelling that builds brand awareness and credibility.
Local Collaboration Matters:
  • This role is based in the Coeur d’Alene area, and local candidates are key or willing to re-locate. Our team thrives on collaboration, and the marketing team you'll be leading is in the Coeur d’Alene office four days a week.     What You Bring

    • 4+ years in a marketing leadership role, preferably in CPG, pet, or wellness categories
    • A “get it done” mindset and willing to roll up your sleeves and execute, not just direct
    • Ability to leverage AI to improve workflows and execution of ideas
    • Experience balancing brand-building with performance marketing in a fast-growth environment
    • Proven track record of leading full-funnel, cross-channel campaigns on tight timelines
    • Mastery of top-of-funnel platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube to drive awareness and proven Amazon and Walmart advertising strategies that drive growth
    • Demonstrated success launching new products and owning outcomes
    • An eye for creative paired with data-driven decision making
    • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing marketing team
